Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last bout for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
